About Dr Emmaline Ashley

Founder, Dr Emmaline is an award winning Doctor who spent her first years training in London, then subsequently worked as a clinical lecturer and tutor in surgery for the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. As an NHS clinician, she has primarily worked in acute medicine, surgical specialties, and emergency medicine. The culmination of this extensive education and training was the founding of her private aesthetics practice in Mayfair, London: Ashley Aesthetics. She is currently the cosmetic doctor at LOOKS: The Art of Beauty, a multi-award-winning skin and laser clinic in the Cayman Islands.

Dr Emmaline is also the Academic and Innovation Lead and an aesthetic trainer for Acquisition Aesthetics, providing clinical oversight for their postgraduate diploma in aesthetic medicine. Acquisition Aesthetics has won record-breaking consecutive awards for Independent Training Provider of the Year. Dr Emmaline started her career as a scientist first and foremost, and her love of science and skincare has led to her pursuit of a Certificate in Cosmetic Science from the Institute of Personal Care Science. She is also an avid reader of books, and a writer and author. She has published two young adult novels at age 16. She has also written essays on education and literature, as well as publishing research in medical journals. She also acts as a media expert for Glowday and Etre Vous, and has been featured frequently in the press and written for industry journals. Her love of writing has translated into The Aesthetics Edit, her educational platform.
