We call for injectable cosmetic fillers to be banned from public exhibitions and events

Many beauty shows across the UK are guilty of offering and selling to members of the public injectable cosmetic fillers. In a bid to halt this unethical practice our campaign is pledging to spearhead a campaign to ban this practice at as many beauty shows around the UK as possible.

It is highly inappropriate and unethical to offer cut price injectable treatments to members of the public at large scale consumer events. not only is this an aggressive commercially driven sales tactic, but it also poses health and safety risks as carrying out a clinical treatment with needles in a non sterile or clinical environment poses huge potential risks. Safety in Beauty believes that such interventions should be confined to clinical environments only where a consumer has the opportunity to have a professional consultation with a reputable and qualified practitioner, there should also be sufficient time for a consumer to make a rational decision with out any sales pressure.

The campaign will post regular updates here.
