Superdrug recalls diet product due to safety fears

UK based retailer Superdrug have recalled a diet product due to safety fears. The product being recalled is Slenderplan Tropical Smoothie Meal Replacement Shake because it may contain small pieces of metal, making it unsafe to drink.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) shares details on what you should do if you have bought an item being recalled for any reason, as well as detailed information on why the product is being pulled from shelves.

According to the FSA, the pack size of the product 208g (8x26g) sachets, batch code: 1050400 20 1050400 23, best before May 31, 2023. The FSA said Superdrug has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
