Keystone Law
Keystone Law is an award-winning UK Top 100 law firm with extensive experience in advising individuals and businesses in the beauty and aesthetic sector on a wide range of matters including compensation claims, handling patient complaints, inquests, advice and representation when regulatory issues are raised by professional bodies, online defamation, risk management, compliance, and CQC inspections.
Our team can assist you with all matters affecting your profession or business, including:
- Subject Access Requests – How to handle disclosure of records or statements
- Managing patient complaints and reducing risk of escalation
- Selecting appropriate insurance
- Reporting incidents to insurers
- Managing risk and defending insurance claims
- Dealing with investigations by regulatory bodies
- Preparing for and attending Inquests
In order to reduce the risk of complaint escalation and the need to defend yourself, your team, or your business in front of a professional body – which could result in the closure of the business, significant fines, or prosecution – we are delighted to offer members of Safety in Beauty a fixed-fee complaint handling service. For just £300pcm we will take the stress away from you by completing a preliminary investigation and responding to the complaint, assuming a maximum of up to 10 complaints per annum. If there are fewer than 10 complaints, we will rebate 15% of the annual amount. In the event of more than 10 complaints, we will also agree a discounted hourly rate for the 11th or every subsequent complaint.

Matthew Trinder is a highly experienced lawyer with a focus on private medmal insurance and independent healthcare including cosmetic/aesthetic medicine and dentistry. He robustly defends compensation claims, but also advises on healthcare law, complaints and regulatory law.
