Meet the Leading Surgeon – Dr Lorenzo Garagnani

Dr Lorenzo Garagnani, OSI MD PGDip (Aesthetic & Wellness Medicine) FRCS EBHS Diploma in Hand Surgery, is the Medical Director of SE1 Medical Aesthetics and one of the UK’s most respected names in aesthetic medicine. Recognised among the Top 7 Consultant Surgeons in the UK aesthetic industry (2023), Dr Garagnani combines world class surgical expertise with a pioneering approach to aesthetic and regenerative medicine.

After qualifying in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bologna in 2002, Dr Garagnani went on to achieve the European Board of Hand Surgery (EBHS) Diploma and a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic & Wellness Medicine. He currently works within the NHS at Guy’s & St Thomas’ and Evelina Children’s Hospital in London. In 2022, he was honoured with the Knighthood of the Order of the Star of Italy (OSI) for his international contributions to surgery and his leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr Garagnani is the Scientific and Anatomical Director for SEASON (Science Enhanced Anatomy Safety Outcomes Network), an initiative that promotes procedural safety, research innovation, and responsible education in aesthetic and regenerative medicine. He also serves as Honorary Reader at King’s College London’s Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine and is the President of the Italian Medical Society of Great Britain (IMSoGB).

Dr Garagnani is globally recognised for developing world first anatomical hand rejuvenation injection techniques B-FAB®, B-PAB®, FAB®, and PAB® that elevate safety, precision, and patient outcomes.
