Essex Hair Clinic, Brentwood, is a doctor-led clinic, founded by Dr Sahu. The Clinic operates from within CQC registered premises of Essex Private Clinic for which Dr Sahu is the registered manager.
She started her specialty training in Ophthalmology but soon went into General practice and over the years also got experience in dermatology and minor surgery.

At present she mainly focuses on Hair restoration but continues to work in the NHS doing a few hours every month. She is trained in both FUE and Strip surgery but now focuses solely on FUE (Follicular Unit Excision)

What makes Essex Hair Clinic unique?

You will always get to see the same doctor, Dr Pragyan Sahu (for all doctor-led treatments). There are no middlemen or agents involved, all consultations are done by Dr Sahu herself.
The surgical aspects of hair restoration are done solely by Dr Sahu and not illegally delegated to technicians as is happening in a lot of clinics even in the UK.
Dr Sahu doesn’t undertake more than one procedure in a day to ensure 100% attention to her patients.
Under no circumstances will you feel pressured to have any treatment.
We may refuse a particular treatment, if we feel it might not be in your best interest. You will never feel rushed during your consultations or hair loss treatments.

About Dr. Pragyan Sahu

The clinic was founded by Dr. Pragyan Sahu who has been practising in the field of hair transplantation since 2014. Over the years, she has obtained more than convincing results and has established herself as an outstanding hair surgeon.

Each procedure is carried out entirely by Dr. Pragyan, using the latest technologies in hair transplantation, experienced in doing beard, moustache and eyebrow transplants along with the usual scalp procedures. Dr Pragyan is an associate member of the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery) and keeps up to date with the latest technology, treatments and products by attending both national and international conferences and training.
