About The Best Aesthetic Doctor Award
Criteria
The Safety in Beauty Best Aesthetic Doctor of The Year Award recognises a medically qualified practitioner such as a (doctor, dentist or surgeon) who has gone above and beyond in their daily work to contribute to their profession, industry, and above all to the safety of their patients.
Finalists should be a GMC registered medical professional, or a GDC registered medical professional (Doctor or Dentist, or Surgeon).
Finalists will have demonstrated evidence from patients within last 12 to 18 months, regarding outstanding care, excellent outcomes, and a safe, professional experience in Aesthetics for their patients.
Further criteria considered includes:
- Evidence of professional education and training
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Evidence of clinical compliance for premises and practice
- Insurance certifications
- Membership of professional bodies and associations
- Patient testimonials
- Before and after photographs must be verified as authentic
- Charitable work, and/or pro-bono endeavours
- Peer educational teaching, mentoring, speaking at conferences
- Participation in clinical research projects
- Educational press and media for either consumer or industry media
- Contribution to peer reviewed articles and publications
- Clear, easy to navigate website with out of hours emergency contact
- Educational social media posts
How is the winner chosen?
- A judging panel of 3 judges selects the winner.
- Voting opens 5th July 2024 and voting closes 5th September 2024
- Please note that public votes will be considered as a supportive element but will not determine the final outcome.
- Judging will take place from 5th October to 5th November 2024
- Final Winner will be announced at The Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards Ceremony and Gala at The Hilton Park Lane Hotel on December 7th 2024 at 6pm
