About The Best Permanent Make Up Practitioner Award 2023

The Best Permanent Make Up Practitioner Award 2023, is given to a Permanent Make Up Practitioner, based in the UK, that will have demonstrated a commitment to excellence and safety in their work, through consistent high standards and excellent client feedback.

Criteria

The following criteria is applicable for entrants or nominees for this award:

Qualifications at a minimum of Level 3 for beauty, and evidence of completion of a permanent make up course provided by a reputable accredited training entity (must be UK based).
Regularly updates their skills by undertaking training and /or Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses.
Does not offer other ‘injectable’ services, but if their business does offers ‘injectable’ services, they must only be provided by a qualified medical health care practitioner and prescribed by as such where applicable (such as botulinum toxin)
Must offer a range of permanent make up services, minimum of two areas, such as brows and lips etc.
Can work as part of an aesthetic medical clinic team, or as part of a wider beauty business or can have their own business and premises.
Entrants that have a mobile business only cannot enter this award.
Insurance certificates for all staff, premises and licenses apply

High professional standards
Excellent client testimonials
Clear and easy to understand website with out of hours emergency contact
Before and after photographs of work with no filters and no editing
Photographs showing before and after with a follow up photograph of the final ‘healed’ outcome

The winner is selected by a judging panel of 3 judges.

Public votes will be considered as a supportive element but will not determine the final outcome
